Ann Marie Anton, age 69 of St. Peter, MN, died on November 27, 2020, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato. A private graveside service will take place at Calvary Cemetery in Madelia. The clergy will be Fr Timothy Hall. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm, at the VFW in St. James, MN. COVID-19 guidelines will be followed, including the use of masks, social distancing and limited capacity. Arrangements are with Sturm Funeral Home, Pilgrim Chapel in Madelia, Minnesota. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com. Ann Marie (Rankin) Anton was born March 18, 1951 in Madelia to Francis and Llona (Biiser) Rankin. She graduated from Madelia High School in 1970. Ann was united in marriage to Richard Anton of August 5, 1972, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Madelia. This union blessed the couple with a daughter and son whom they raised in Lake Crystal. Ann enjoyed staying busy in life. She loved the opportunity to baby sit her nieces, nephews, relatives and her grandkids. She was always willing to help anyone in need. Ann also enjoyed cross stitching, jigsaw puzzles, playing cards with family and friends, and she especially loved a good game of bingo. Ann was recently a member of the Church of St. Peter. Although her passing seems so sudden and unexpected to most, she is now at peace. Countless cherished memories will forever stay in the hearts of those who were blessed to have her in their lives. Blessed be those memories. Ann is survived by her husband of 48 years, Richard Anton of St. Peter; her daughter, Shannon (Clayton) Dawson of New Richland; her son, Rodney (fianc Jill Bock) Anton of St. Peter; grandchildren, Ryker Anton, Logan Bock, Calleigh Bock; sister, Leone Jensvold of Florida; brothers, Dick (Sue) Rankin of Madelia, Duane (Donna) Rankin of St. James, Darwin (Peggy) Rankin of Trimont; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Ricky; and brother-in-law, Jerry Jensvold. Service Information 11:00 am Thursday, March 18, 2021 Calvary Cemetery, Madelia East, Co.
