Alvin Christian Wille

Alvin C. Wille was born August 2, 1923 on the family farm north of Lamberton to Gustav and Bertha (Rehberg) Wille. He was united in marriage to Christine Vogel on October 10, 1945 at the St. Joseph's Rectory in Lamberton. Alvin enjoyed reading, watching movies and the Twins, playing cards, playing balloon ball, Noel's Bible studies, eating ice cream and chocolate candy. He also loved spending time and visiting with family and friends. After retiring from farming and moving to Lamberton, Alvin was a volunteer driver for Western Community Action for many years.

Alvin died on May 12, 2024, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield, MN at the age of 100.

Alvin is survived by his children - Audrey Schons of Sleepy Eye, Dave (Barb) Wille of Lamberton, Ron (Ginny) Wille of Murdock, Gordy (Katy) Wille of Lamberton, Greg (Sandy) Wille of Lamberton  and Wendy (Dennis Peck) Wille of Springfield, MO; 18 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Eleanor Teicher, Arlene Vogel, Eileen Vogel, Nancy Vogel and brother-in-law Tony Vogel; many nieces and nephews and good friends Steve and Marie Renner of Springfield. He was preceded in death by his parents, Gustav and Bertha; wife Christine Vogel on June 21, 2013; brothers and sisters - Lydia, Robert, Louise, Frieda, Ervin, Walter, Erna, Florence, Bernice and Ann; and son-in-law Ken Schons.
