Alois Huebert

Alois 'Dallas' Huebert was born September 26, 1928, in Springfield, MN, the son of Carl and Cecelia (Hansen) Huebert. He farmed northeast of Springfield until moving into Springfield in 1978. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the Springfield Senior Citizens. Dallas enjoyed farming and playing cards, and admired airplanes. Alois 'Dallas' Huebert died Tuesday, April 4, 2006, at the Springfield Medical Center at the age of 77 years. Survivors include son- Brian Huebert and special friend Laura Miller of Fairmont, MN; daughters- Tammy and husband Paul Hertzel of Mason City, IA, and Pamela and husband Derek Filzen of Winona, MN; 7 grandchildren; brother- Don and wife Bernice Huebert of Brownton, MN; sister- Eleanora Rupp of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. The family would like to thank all of the many local citizens who have looked after Dalls through the years.
