Alberta Ostwald

Alberta Marie Ostwald, the daughter of Otto and Hazel (Van Dam) Ostwald was born on May 29, 1934, at Okabena, MN. She attended grade school in Okabena, and she graduated from high school in Pine City, MN. While living in Crystal, MN, Bert worked in production at Telex and Technical Ordnance in the Minneapolis, MN area. Bert and Leola moved to Mountain Lake, MN in September 1995. Alberta Bert Ostwald, age 73 ,of Mountain Lake, MN died on Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at Windom Area Hospital in Windom, MN. Bert is survived by two sisters, Odetta Gallagher and her husband Bob of Fairmont, MN, and Elizabeth Ostwald of St. Louis Park, MN; two special friends, Leola Gohr of Mountain Lake, and Vera Grob of St. Louis Park; three sisters-in-law, Patricia Ostwald of Fridley, MN, Grace Ostwald of Jackson, MN and Barbara Ostwald of Negaunee, MI; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Meryl, Darrell, Winfield and Jerome Ostwald; and a sister-in-law, Janice Ostwald.
