Agnes Grausam

Agnes Mary Grausam was born on June 3, 1924 in Sanborn, MN to George Annie (Schroeder) Hengel. She married Michael J. Grausam on May 20, 1945. They lived on the family farm and raised four children. In 1980, they retired and moved to Sleepy Eye. Agnes very much enjoyed time spent with her children and grandchildren. Agnes had a very active life, growing day lilies, watercolor painting, baking bread and making corn husk dolls. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Christian Mothers. She is survived by her children, Joan Grausam, Greg (Paulette) Grausam, Julie (Wayne) Huiras, all of Sleepy Eye, Rosie (Bernie) Kuehn of Milroy, MN, grandchildren, Aiden Grausam, Matt (Jessie) Grausam, Mark (Vanessa) Grausam, Mike (Katie) Huiras, brother, Ray Hengel of Sleepy Eye, sister, Mary Ann Kotten of Sleepy Eye, brother-in-law, Vesty Kotten of Sleepy Eye, sister-in-law and Josie Hengel of Arizona. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Michael in 2001, brothers, Christy Jerome Hengel, sister, Isabel Hoffman, sister-in-law, Simone Hengel and brothers-in-law, Tom Hoffman Ed Grausam.
