Adella A. Tauer

Adella A. Tauer was born on November 21, 1926 in Stark Township, MN to Louis and Mary (Haala) Helget. She grew up in Stark Township and attended country school. Adella married Raymond W. Tauer on June 3, 1946 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. They made their home in Lake Hanska all of their lives. She worked at various jobs before retiring from AUI in Sleepy Eye. Adella enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, embroidery and quilting. Adella really enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed listening to old-time music. Adella is survived by her children, Richard (Kathi) of Surprize, AZ, Marie Raden of Redwood Falls, Tom of Nicaragua, Dennis "Luke" of Sleepy Eye, Cletus (Patty) of Sleepy Eye, Marlys (Larry) Decker of Waverly, Marlin of Sleepy Eye, Eileen of New Ulm, Douglas of Hanska, Diane (Jim) Reed of Darfur, Monica (Bob) Farasyn of New Ulm, Pat (Linda) of Sleepy Eye, Wayne (special friend, Susan) of San Antonio, TX, Gary of Sleepy Eye, 23 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, sister, Lucille (Robert) Brand of New Ulm, sisters-in-law, Donna Helget of Sleepy Eye, Delores (Jerome) Kral of New Ulm, Alice (Donald) Sellner of Comfrey and brother-in-law, Robert (Darlene) Tauer of Hanska. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Raymond, brothers, Vernard, Marvin and Edwin, sister, Elvira Wiltscheck and son-in-law, Richard Raden.
