Adeline Rummel

There will be no public funeral service. Adeline Ethel Rummel was born on January 4, 1952 in Springfield, MN the daughter of Alfred and Ethel (Engel) Jenniges. She attended St. Raphael's Catholic School and graduated from Springfield Public High School. She was united in marriage to James M. Rummel on April 3, 1971 in Sanborn, MN. Adeline worked at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield, Norwood Industry in Sleepy Eye and Shell Convenient Store in Springfield. She was a member of St. Raphael's Catholic Church in Springfield. Adeline enjoyed crafts, puzzles, reading, flowers and gardening, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Adeline died on Sunday, July 31, 2011 at the Mayo Health System in Springfield, MN at the age of 59 years. She is survived by her sons - Scott (Angel Clemon) Rummel of Springfield and Shawn (Trisha) Rummel of Springfield; grandchildren - Elizabeth, Jordan, Tyler, Mason, and Sam Rummel and Kendra, Katelynn, Alexis, and Shane Clemon; sisters - Karen (Dennis) Baumann of Springfield and Gail (Leonard Marz) Jenniges of Springfield; and brothers - John (Colleen) Jenniges of Springfield, Joseph (Barb) Jenniges of Eden Prairie, MN, and James (Chantel) Jenniges of Montivideo, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents Alfred and Ethel Jenniges; husband - James in 1996; parents-in-law - Isadore and Cleo (Brix) Rummel; and an infant brother - Bruce.
