Ada Boutwell

Ada was born August 19, 1935 in Madelia, MN to Ralph and Edna (Lewis) Misner. She grew up in Madelia and graduated from Madelia High School, after which she attended Beauty School. Ada and Jim Boutwell were married in 1954 and lived in New Ulm. They then made their home in Linden Township and lived there for 32 years before moving back to Madelia. She worked at 3-M, Luther Memorial Home and Tony Down Foods for 28 years. She was active in her church, later in life she enjoyed the Red Hat Society. Camping, crocheting, painting and videography were a few of her many hobbies. Spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, was a large part of her life. She is survived by her children Leann (Bob) Moll of St. James; Glenn Boutwell - special friend Rhonda Garner of Marshall; Dale Boutwell of Del Rio, Tx; Neal Boutwell of Madelia; and Barbara Henry (Chuck Routh) of Colorado Spring, Co; special niece Lois (Pat) Murphy of Avon, MN, brother-in-law Jerry Bristol; sisters-in-law Rosie Boutwell and Peg (Norman) Miller; grandchildren Teresa (Ryan) Davis, Joann Boutwell, Laura (Preston) Roloff , Tyler and Shawna Henry, Brianna and Jesse Boutwell; step grandchildren Ashley (Bounthavy) Keosaksith, Joshua (Lauren) Moll, and Shandra Moll; great grandchildren Keyan, Griffin and one due in August; 3 step-great grandchildren. Many nieces and nephews. Ada was preceded in death by her husband James, her parents, twin sister Ida Tierney, sister Phyllis Bristol, brother-in-law Ralph Boutwell, son-in-law Dan Schrader, nephew Lee Tierney.
