Yvonne Ibberson

Yvonne Maureen Ibberson was born September 3, 1931, in Sleepy Eye, MN the daughter of Peter J. and Birdia (Johnston) Fischer. She was united in marriage to Thomas H. Ibberson on September 30, 1950, in Sleepy Eye. Yvonne sang in the St. Mary's Catholic Church Choir for 37 years, and directed the Caecelian Choir for 11 years. She enjoyed watching the Minnesota Viking and Notre Dame Fighting Irish football games, working in her flower garden, and especially enjoyed spending time with the family dogs, her family, and her grandchildren. Yvonne Ibberson died Monday, February 11, 2013, at the Fairfax Community Home at the age of 81 years. She is survived by husband Thomas; children- Scott (Pattie) Ibberson of Sleepy Eye, Tim Ibberson of Luverne, and Joel (Lori) Ibberson of Sleepy Eye; grandchildren- Jennifer, Anne, Jessie, Jeremy, and Sarah; and great-grandchildren- Cheyenne, Cash, Caiden, and Abigail. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers- James, Thomas, and Nick; and sisters- Alys, Lorraine, and Beverly.
