William "Bill" H. Johnson, age 51, of rural Comfrey, MN died Thursday, April 3rd, 2008 at this home. William Bill Howard Johnson was born to Howard Fay (Kyar) Johnson on December 13, 1956 in Sleepy Eye, MN. He attended Albin Country School and graduated from St. James High School in 1975. He attended Mankato Vo-tech and earned a degree in business agriculture. On August 14, 1987 Bill was united in marriage to Jane Vidlund in Watertown, MN. Bill farmed most of his life and also worked for Schwartz Farms in Sleepy Eye and Stevens Construction in St. James. Bill loved and enjoyed all sports but was most passionate about playing golf. He was a true gentleman with a love for his family, friends and farm. He is survived by his wife, Jane and two daughters, Kelli and Emily of Sleepy Eye; mother, Fay Williams; two sisters, Becky (Wayne) Maloney and Brenda Anderson; grandmother, Myrtle Kyar, parents-in-law, ElRoy Dorothy Vidlund, sisters-in-law, Kathy (Darrell) Carlson and Mary Kroneberger, several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard and step-father, Gene Williams. His gentle demeaner, charming personality, comedic sense of humor and radiant smile will be truly missed, but never forgotten.
