Scot (Adeline) Coyour, 92, of Springfield, (formally of Trimont and Fairmont, MN), died peacefully Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield. Scot was the daughter of A.O. and Dorothy Fisher of Trimont, MN. Born on March 9, 1922, and graduated from Trimont High School and from Mankato Commercial College. Scot worked several years at the U of MN Business office. Scot was united into marriage to Howard Coyour, October 27, 1950. They lived, worked, and started a family in Fairmont, MN. The family moved to Springfield, Sunday, August 4, 1963. Scot was a fulltime homemaker and worked part- time at the Sears Catalog Store, their family run business in Springfield. Scot loved bowling, shopping, knitting, and the family poodles and her family. She will be remembered by many as a great lady with a real fashion flair. She was a happy, fun person to be around and really the glue of our family. She always found and brought out the good in her children. She was a gift. We are blessed to call her Mom. She was our best friend. We are grateful for every moment we had with her and every memory we share of her. She will be in our hearts forever. She is preceded in death by her parents (1959 and 1989), her husband Howard (2008), daughter Marsha (1952), son Grant (1999), sister Sally Stewart (2009) and her husband Don (2003) of New Ulm, MN, sisters in law Nita Rankin (1991) of Waterloo, IA, Claris Delyea of Northwood, IA. (2011). Survivors are her children Lee, of Willmar, MN and Cindee and her husband Jim Clausen, of Apple Valley, MN. Nephews Michael Stewart of North Mankato and family, Patrick Stewart and his wife, Karen, of Plymouth and their family, Mark Stewart and his wife, Becky, of Eagle Lake and family. One niece Debbie Rustad and her husband Roger and their family, of Northwood, IA. Cousins Ione Laase of Trimont and Marcia Dimmel of Mankato. Memorials preferred to St. John Lutheran Home -- Riverhaven, Station 2-North or the Chapel.
