Richard Guinn

Richard Jose Dean Guinn was born in Honolulu, HI, the son of Richard Jr. and Adela (Balaoro) Guinn. He attended schools in Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Comfrey, and graduated from Redwood Falls High School. He attended Rasmussen College in Mankato and Jackson Technical College in Jackson. Jose worked at Jackpot Junction in Morton, MN. He just passed his cosmetology licensing and was ready to start his career. Jose enjoyed music, singing, cutting hair, and loved to make people laugh. Jose died on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at his home in Springfield at the age of 31 years from carbon monoxide poisoning. He is survived by his parents - Richard and Adela Guinn of Springfield; siblings - Arsenio Abella of New Ulm, Edell (Jason) Fiedler of Springfield, Ashley Guinn of St. Peter, and Tabatha Guinn of Springfield; a maternal grandmother - Visitacion Balaguer; and nieces - Caitlyn and Sonja. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; and maternal grandfather.
