Minnie Stockstead

Minnie Stockstead was born on August 25, 1913 near Hanska, MN, the daughter of Peder Tilda (Vaagen) Paulson. Minnie married Marvin Stockstead on December 24, 1931 in Minneapolis. She was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye. Minnie Stockstead, age 99, passed away peacefully on August 25, 2012 at the Sleepy Eye Care Center. She is survived by her daughters, Jean (Wallace) Brunswold of Walker, MN and Molly (Donald) Lewis of Walker, MN Florida; grandchildren, Carla (Rick) Nelson, Kirk (Tammie) Brunswold, Sandra (Craig) Cheney, Lori (Steve) Quinlivan, great grandchildren; Kip, Jenna, Jordan, Stephanie and Katie. She was preceded in death by her parents, loving husband, Marvin, six sisters and one brother. She was very special. We will miss her.
