Mary Rossbach, age 45, of rural Hanska, MN died on Tuesday, April 29, 2008 at her home. Mary Elizabeth Rossbach was born on August 2, 1962 in Fairmont, MN, the daughter of Lyle Marian (Pytleski) Anderson. Mary grew up on the family farm in Lake Belt Township, rural Ceylon. She graduated from Ceylon High School in 1980 and the College of St. Teresa's, Winona, in 1984. She married Douglas Rossbach on July 29, 1989 at St. Luke's Catholic Church in Sherburn. Mary was a registered nurse at the Sleepy Eye Care Center from 1984-1988, was Director of Nursing at Fairfax Community Home and returned to the Care Center from 1989 until May of 2007. Mary loved playing piano and accompanying vocalists, served as pianist at church services and enjoyed music of wide ranges. She was active in Ladies Aid, Church Circle, various quilting projects and active at Albion Lutheran Church. She participated in Hanska Syttende Mai Productions for a couple of years, loved working with residents and their families of various nursing home facilities and loved vacationing with family. Mary was a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister and loved her family deeply. She is survived by her husband, Doug and daughters, Sarah and Anna, all of rural Hanska, parents, Marian Lyle Anderson of Ceylon, father-in-law, Harold Rossbach of Hanska, sister, Ann (Patrick) Soderlund of New Prague and sister-in-law, Carol (Don) Rodgers of Centralia, Missouri. She was preceded in death by her brother, Tom Anderson in 1999, mother-in-law, Vera Rossbach in 2006 and her grandparents.
