Marlin Gage Fast, 83, of Worthington, MN, passed away on August 17, 2022 at the Sanford Medical Center in Worthington, MN. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the Cornerstone (formerly EMB) Cemetery in Mt. Lake, MN. Marlin was born on December 14, 1938 in Hillsboro, Kansas. Marlin resided with his mother, Anna Fast Deckert, until her death in 1987. He then lived in several different care facilities in Minnesota. He moved to his current home in Worthington, MN in 2003 after the McMillan Home closed. A long-time employee of the Nobles County DAC, Marlin retired in September of 2012. He then attended the Living Life Day Program for several years. Marlin was a very friendly, well-dressed man. His appearance was very important to him and he enjoyed dressing up every day. Marlin loved to go to Perkins for lunch or supper and particularly enjoyed the pie there. Religion played a large role in Marlins early life as his adoptive mother was a missionary in Nebraska and Georgia. Marlin was preceded in death by his parents. Thanks to the many dedicated staff that loved and cared for Marlin through the years. He was blessed to have many great support staff at home and work.
