The Funeral will be 10:30 AM Saturday, July 21, 2012 at First Presbyterian Church, Pastor Sarah Butler officiating. Interment will take place at Mountain Lake City Cemetery, following the funeral. Marjee Ann was born on March 28, 1939 in Rodman, Iowa to Adrian and Norma (Weaver) Kuyper. A graduate of Graettinger, IA high School, Marjee married Theodore Janzen on June 30, 1956 in Iowa. As a homemaker, Marjee also worked at Butterfield Foods and then at Hiebert Greenhouse. In the mid-70's, she began her career with the US Postal Service, first at the section center in Windom, and then as a Postal Inspector which involved a lot of travel. Wanting to stay closer to home, she applied for the position of Post Master in Jeffers and was transferred there. Later, the same position became available in Mountain Lake and she transferred to that branch. Unfortunately, poor health forced her to retire early. In her younger years, Marjee enjoyed snowmobile parties and camping. After her retirement, she and Ted bought a motor home so they could travel more extensively. They enjoyed many winters in Apache Junction, AZ, and spent three summers as work-campers. An accomplished seamstress, Marjee also enjoyed baking. Marjee Janzen is survived by her husband, Ted; children: Scott Ramrada, Hebron, KY, Marilyn Paul Schultz, Madison, SD, and Chris Susan, Cottonwood, TN; siblings: Robert Kuyper, Kathy Garry Culbertson, Karen Jurgens, Jim Kuyper, and Rich Sarah Kuyper; five grandchildren: Scott Miranda Janzen, Jr., Teddy Janzen, Levi Schmid, Jake Heather Janzen, Duke Janzen, and two step-grandchildren: Lea Greg Zich, Cassandra Fest; four great-grandchildren: Hunter Janzen, Haleigh Janzen, and Amery Zich, and Isabelle Zich; brothers-in-law: Danny Margaret Janzen, Mountain Lake, and Carl Janzen, St. James.
