Marilyn Ann Arduser was born December 29, 1930 to Herbert and Anna (Wilness) Nelson in Madelia. She graduated from Madelia High School in 1948 and attended the University of Minnesota School of Business. Marilyn was united in marriage Oct 1,1949 to Lenard S. Arduser at the Faith Lutheran Church Madelia. Marilyn farmed alongside her husband in rural Madelia until 1979 when they moved to town in Madelia. Marilyn was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church and served as a Sunday School Teacher and was in the Church Choir. She was involved with the Ceresco Top Notchers 4-H Club and was a Girl Scout leader for many years. Marilyn enjoyed cooking, gardening, antiques, helping her husband with woodworking projects and playing bridge and 500 with friends. She loved going to Jackpot with her friends, especially Carmen. Marilyn loved to entertain at their cabin and at home, especially during the holidays. Her door was always open to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, to whom she had a very special bond. Marilyn will be remembered as a very social, generous, and compassionate person. Marilyn A. Arduser age 87, of Madelia, MN died on March 27, 2018, at Luther Memorial Home in Madelia. Marilyn is survived by three daughters, Debbie Suedel and fiance Lee Eby of Brooklyn Center, Lana (Rick) Bruns of Madelia, Becky (Bill) Miller of Madelia; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; brother, David (Marjorie) Nelson of Harrisburg, PA; sister-in-law, Ella Welp of Madelia and many nieces, nephews and friends. Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Anna Nelson; husband, Lenard; sister, Lorraine Gronewold; brother, Philip Nelson and son-in-law, Jim Suedel.
