Lorraine Thulien

Lorraine Mary Thulien was born June 22, 1922 in St. James, MN to William and Rosa (Miest) O'Brien. She graduated from St. James High School in 1941 and was united in marriage to A. Charles Thulien on September 24, 1950 at St. Paul's Parsonage. Lorraine worked at the Herbin Holte grocery store from 1943-50. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and taught Sunday School, served on the Altar Guild, and helped with the newsletter. Lorraine enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by sons- Bill and wife Gloria Thulien of St. James, and Jim and wife Karen Thulien of St. James; grandchildren- Joseph Thulien of St. James, Tessa Thulien of Peoria, IL, and Josie Thulien of Madelia; step-grandchildren- Chastity Nelson of St. James, Brandon Kathman of Rochester, and Kristina Kathman of St. James; step-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband A.
