Loren Paul Fuller, age 78, of Saint James, died on July 7, 2024, at the Good Samaritan Society in Saint James.
Per Loren's request, a private service will be held. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Loren's life on Friday, July 12, 2024, at the Saint James VFW from 12:00 to 2:00 pm. Memorials are preferred to Moments Hospice, The Good Samaritan Society of Saint James, or the Watonwan County Historical Society. Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Saint James. Loren was born August 17, 1945, to Paul and Alma (Munsterman) Fuller in Saint James. He graduated from Saint James High School. Loren married Judith Theneman on July 30, 1967, at Grace Lutheran Church in Sleepy Eye.
Loren worked as a farmhand for the Spitzner family beginning in the mid-1970s. He also worked for the Fleet and Farm in Saint James for 46 years. In his free time, Loren enjoyed family trips to Alexandria, fish and shrimp boils, and talking about family history.
He was known for his saying, " I get younger and better looking every day." and wished to be remembered with a smile and E&J in hand.
Loren is survived by his nieces, Deb (Mark) Deegan and Amy Pluym; nephew, James (Lori) Sodeman; brother and sister-in-law, Dave and Dory Theneman; great nieces and nephews, John and Andy Odegard, Josh and Mysti Deegan, JoAnna and Aaron Pluym, and Taylor, Breyden, and Jacey Sodeman; and great-great nieces, Lexi and Lyra Odegard.
Loren was preceded in death by his parents; sister, JoAnn (Darwin) Sodeman; and wife, Judy.
