Lloyd Wilkerson

Lloyd Harris Wilkerson was born January 16, 1931, in London, MN the son of William Harris and Anna Marie (Larsen) Wilkerson. He was raised in Austin, MN and served with the U.S. Army overseas. Lloyd was united in marriage to Betty Baker on September 20, 1958, in Austin, and later married to Virginia Stark on December 30, 1985, in New Ulm. He worked at Ochs Brick for over 20 years and enjoyed woodworking, stained glass, and gardening. Lloyd loved cat fishing on the Minnesota River with family and friends, playing cards, and his afternoon visits with his friends. Lloyd was very talented with arts and crafts and enjoyed sharing those talents and gifts with his many friends. Lloyd Wilkerson died Wednesday, April 11, 2012, at his home at the age of 81 years. He is survived by children- Sharron Holt of Riverton, WY, Danny Baker of Riverton, WY, James (Jaye) Baker of Riverton, WY, Alice (Michael) Wendt of Springfield, Susan (Paul) Matter of Springfield, and James (Chris) Stark of Springfield; grandchildren- Mike, Pat, Tina, Arnie, Jack, Joe, Jackie, Carrie, Angie, Justin, Summer, Jess, Steven, Riva, Andy, Sarah, Josh, Amanda, Tyler, and Ryan; 44 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; sisters- Beverly Anderson, Judy Branson, and Arlene Banek; brothers- Richard, Jack, Robert, and Arnold Wilkerson; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Virginia in 1999; sons- Arnold and Jack Baker; sisters- Gladys Aston, Darlene Watkins, Betty Jean Kvam, Pearl Mason, and Pat Wradislavsky; and brother Hank Wilkerson.
