KayLynn Sanderville was born May 31, 2005, in Detroit Lake, MN. As a child she was placed in foster care with Robert and Joleen Sanderville. The couple later adopted KayLynn and her siblings Eva and Ryan. The family lived in Marshall where KayLynn attended preschool. After moving to Springfield, she attended school at Springfield Public school where she was currently at junior. KayLynn was involved in many activities at school including FFA, theatre, speech, mock trial, choir, NHS, and student council, and played saxophone in the band. She was very artistic and enjoyed painting and writing poems; she also taught herself German. KayLynn had aspired to be a veterinarian and loved animals. As a young child she volunteered her time at St. John Lutheran Home and currently worked in the laundry department. She also was a tutor for young children, delivered newspapers, and cared for many children and dogs. KayLynn had a beautiful personality and was loved by many. KayLynn died on December 12, 2021, at her home in Springfield, at the age of 16. She is survived by her parents Robert and Joleen Sanderville; siblings - Emma, Eva, and Ryan; nephews - Adam and Colton; her birth father Scott Gettel and birth mother Shannon Zamora Nava.
