Katherine Frisch

Katherine Ruth Schmidt was born December 9, 1962, in St. James, the daughter of Paul Donna (Hudson) Schmidt. Kathy grew up in St. James. On November 14, 1981, she was united in marriage to Joseph Frisch. They made their home in rural Madelia where they raised their family. Our mom was amazing. A woman of effortless grace. Full of kindness, full of love. She could do anything. She was always there. When she reached out her helping hand, she touched your heart. She was a gift, an angel on earth to anyone who knew her. She was everywhere, she did everything. To us she is everywhere and is everything. We are blessed to call her wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She was our best friend. This world is a brighter place for having had her in it. We are grateful for every moment we had with her and every memory we share of her. We will feel her presence in every act of kindness. She will be in our hearts forever. Gordon (Elizabeth) Frisch of Santa Fe, Charlie (Peg) Frisch of Finlayson, Jeanne (Mike) Burke of St. James, David (Becky) Frisch of Colorado Springs and numerous nieces and nephews.
