Karen Krueger

Karen was born on June15, 1943 to William and Eva (Braford) Frank in International Falls, MN. Her family consisted of 3 brothers Billy, Don and Jerry and 2 sisters Janet and Linda. She attended International Falls High School and graduated in 1961. On January 18, 1964, Karen was united in marriage to Duane Rodger Krueger. The couple raised one son, Norman. International Falls was home until her and Duane moved to Comfrey in 2011. Karen was very artistically gifted and worked as a floral designer and arranger. She had a passion to create scrapbooks photo albums, and greeting cards. Karen was overjoyed to pass her greeting card passions onto Raegan. Karen loved her hobbies but most of all loved spending time with her family. While living in Comfrey Karen was a member of the New Hope Lutheran Church where she served on the Mission Committee. Karen died on Monday, July 25, 2022, at the New Ulm Medical Center at the age of 79. She is survived by husband Duane, her son Norman (Andrea) Krueger, grandchildren Colin (Amanda) and Raegan, brother Jerry (Yvonne) Frank, sisters Janet Oliverson and Linda (Don) Mulkey.
