Jack Dean Remker, a life-long resident of St. James, MN, died in his home on November 24, 2014, at the age of 60. Jack was born in Trimont, Minnesota, on June 1, 1954, to Eugene (Jack) and Jeanette (Dougherty) Remker. He was baptized and confirmed at the First Presbyterian Church in St. James and he graduated from St. James High School in 1972. He worked at Grain Products Elevator, for various farmers in the area and in recent years he worked as a handyman. Jack enjoyed gardening, tennis and bowling. He was a kindhearted man who when asked was always willing to lend a hand. Jack is survived by his sister Linda (Rodney) Eldevik of Alexandria, MN and their son Brian (Jan) of Farmington, MN; brother Mark Remker of Hayward, WI and his children Trina (Shawn) of Hayward, WI, Darcy (Casey) of Lodi, WI and Garrett (Sarabeth) of Big Lake, MN; sister Deborah (Brad) Romsdahl and their children Melissa (Travis), Jennifer, Ashley and Trevor of New Prague, MN. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents and many aunts and uncles. Interment Information Mt. Hope Cemetery, St. James S. CR 27 St. James, Minnesota, United States
