Gerald Groebner

Gerald Walter Groebner was born on August 29, 1945 in Sleepy Eye, MN, the son of Walter Louise (Mathiowetz) Groebner. He grew up and graduated from high school in Sleepy Eye. Gerald served in the US Army from 1965 until 1967 as a power plant operator. He farmed near Sleepy Eye his entire life. Gerald was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. He is survived by his daughter, Jenn Groebner of Arlington, VA, son, Greg Groebner of New Ulm and sister, Lois Groebner of Mankato. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Eugene Groebner.
