Florence C. 'Flossy' Helget

Florence "Flossy" Cecelia (Braun) Helget, age 89,of Sleepy Eye, MN died on Monday, December 3, 2018, at Sleepy Eye Care Center. Florence was born April 4, 1929, in Brown County, MN, the daughter of George and Minnie (Manderfeld) Braun. Florence married Linus Louis Helget of Sleepy Eye, MN on May 7, 1947 at St. Andrew's Catholic Church in Fairfax, MN. Florence and Linus lived on Linus's family farm in Stark Township. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye, MN. A strong woman who lived her life on the farm, Florence will be missed by many. May she rest in peace. Florence is survived by her three grandchildren, Bradley Sellner and wife Jennifer of Monticello, MN, Randy Sellner and wife Sheila of Sleepy Eye, MN, and Tammy (Sellner) Hinderman and husband Jeff of New Ulm, MN; 11 great grandchildren; her sisters, Delores Kortz and Kathryne Olson of Fairfax, MN; brother-in-law Leo Gulden of New Ulm, MN. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Linus; daughter Shirley Sellner; son-in-law Leon Sellner; brothers, Norman and Howard; sister Mabel Haala; sisters-in-law Valeria Brey and LaVerna Gulden.
