Eleanor Anne Kulseth

Eleanor Anne Kulseth, age 51, of Saint James, died on May 22, 2024, at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

Visitation will be on Thursday, May 30, 2024, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Augustana Lutheran Church in Saint James. A memorial service will be held at Augustana Lutheran Church in Saint James on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery in Saint James. Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Saint James. Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com.

Ellie was born September 16, 1972, to Vernon and Lillian (Trujillo) Bengtson in Denver, Colorado. She graduated from Saint James High School in 1991. On April 24, 1993, she married Michael Kulseth. Together, they raised two children, Lindsey and Lucas.

Ellie worked many years as a bookkeeper for St. James Electric, a business that her and Mike established in 1997 and built together from the ground up. She was active in raising money for cancer foundations, including Relay for Life and the Susan G. Kommen three-day walk. In her free time, Ellie enjoyed golfing, traveling, going to concerts, cooking, reading cookbooks, watching cooking shows, and  shopping for her newest have-to-have kitchen gadgets. In her last year of life, she was most proud of becoming a grandmother.

Ellie is survived by her husband, Mike; children, Lindsey Kulseth and Lucas (Sarah Solheid) Kulseth; granddaughter, Lily Mae Kulseth; brothers, Bill Bengtson and Robert Samora; niece, Chantelle (Isaac) Abeyta; nephew, Jordan Davis; great niece, Maisie Josephine; and parents-in-law, Cecelia and John Kulseth.

Ellie was preceded in death by her parents and nephew, Joshua Abeyta and a few important friends she made throughout her life.
