Elaine Reiner

Elaine Kathryn Reiner was born May 26, 1929, to John and Rose (Hillesheim) Prokosch at their home in Stark Township in Brown County. She attended Iberia School District. On April 8, 1947, Elaine married Albert Reiner at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye, MN. They farmed north of Sanborn for many years. Elaine enjoyed cooking, sewing, tending to flowers and gardening, canning, quilting, dancing, golfing, playing cards, watching baseball and fishing. She was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church in Sanborn where she was an active member in the CCW. Elaine enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Elaine Kathryn Reiner died Saturday, May 19, 2007, at Valley View Manor in Lamberton at the age of 77 years. Elaine is survived by her husband of 60 years - Albert; sons - Russell and wife Debra Reiner of Palo Cedro, CA, Glen and wife Dorothy Reiner of Alexandria, MN, Jack and wife Jodene Reiner of Sanborn, and Paul Reiner of Grass Valley, CA; daughters - Joyce and husband David McConville of Winona, Marjorie and husband Nicholas Conyers of Sanborn, and Sara and husband Bill Schaffran of Lamberton; 24 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; and brother- Thomas and wife Marge Prokosch of Comfrey. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother and sister-in-law - John R. and Trudy Prokosch; and grandson Jeremy.
