Donna Marie (Hudson) Stoesz, age 95, of Saint James died on September 1, 2024, at Pleasant View Good Samaritan Center in Saint James

Donna born March 4, 1929, in Saint James to Herbert and Adelaide Hudson. She graduated from Saint James High School in 1946. Donna was united in marriage to Eugene Stoesz on March 4, 1948, in Mountain Lake and were lifelong members of the Saint James Catholic Parish. The couple made their home in Butterfield, Mountain Lake and later Saint James where they raised two children, Nancy and Robert.

Donna worked at Dr Gosche's office and later was a homemaker. She and Gene enjoyed their retirement years traveling as snowbirds, spending several years in Arizona. She loved to play golf and go dancing.

Donna is survived by her daughter, Nancy Hoscheid of Saint James; daughter-in-law, Patty Stoesz of New Ulm; 5 grandchildren, Stephanie (Andy) Walter of Saint James, Stacie (Matt) Sykes of Saint James, Shannon Sawatzky of Saint James, Jason Stoesz of Minneapolis, and Danielle Laumann of Iowa; 9 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Eugene; son, Robert; two brothers, Sidney Hudson and James Jim Hudson; two sisters, Jean Cooper and Ann Kennedy; and son-in-law, Ronald Hoscheid.
