Donna Mae Augustin

Donna Mae was born on June 22, 1934 in Brown County, MN the daughter of Richard and Syrealda (Cossins) Hose. She attended country school and later graduated from Sleepy Eye Public High School. Donna attended college in Mankato where she received her nursing training. Donna married Russell Augustin on November 25, 1952 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. Donna worked at the Sleepy Eye Hospital for 30 years, taught Title 1 at Leavenworth and did home health for several years. She was a member of the Japanese Martyrs Catholic Church in Leavenworth. Donna enjoyed reading, sitting by the lake, flowers, traveling and especially spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Survivors include, her children, Kathleen (Bruce) Meier of Owatonna, Ron Augustin of Sleepy Eye, Steve Augustin of Sleepy Eye, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, sister, Evelyn Aukrust of Sleepy Eye. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Russell, sons, Michael and Daniel, sisters Caroline Olson and Elzina Christensen and brothers, Gordon, Raymond and Leonard Hose.
