Dale Leroy Anderson

Dale Anderson age 69, of Saint James, MN died on October 21, 2018, at Season's Health Care in Trimont, MN. Dale Leroy Anderson was born on March 22, 1949 to Oliver and Edna (Aden) Anderson in St. James, MN. He grew up on the family farm and was a 1967 graduate of St. James High School. On July 3, 1998 he married Deborah (Nelson) Wegner at Trinity Lutheran Church in Mt. Lake, MN. For more than 40 years, he was a farmer and employee of Watonwan Farm Service. Dale enjoyed life on the farm, hunting, spending time with friends and family at the lake, helping farm neighbors, raising livestock and spoiling the pets. But, his most treasured times were with Deb, his children and grandchildren. His grandchildren will remember tractor rides, the cabin, and grandpa teasing them. To his children, Pa will always be their strong, loving, and hard-working Hero. Dale is survived by his wife, Deborah Anderson; son, Benjamin (Sarah) Anderson; daughters, Heidi (Mike) Oanes, Lindsey (Matt) Schreiner; step-children, Troy (fiancée-Melissa Kotten) Wegner, Darrick Wegner, Leanne (Jared) Kruger; sister, Faye (Mike) Kennedy; grandchildren, Stephanie, Annika, Maggie, Payton, Jackie, Lydia, Nolan, Makenna, McCoy, Conway, Easton, and Summit along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Lee Anderson and granddaughter, Johanna Anderson.
