Crescentia Meidl

Crescentia S. Meidl was born on August 23, 1929 in Mulligan Township, Brown County, MN the daughter of Edward and Lydia (Lang) Meidl. She attended District #70 Country School in Mulligan Township and also St. Paul's School in Comfrey. Crescentia never married but helped her parents on the farm until her father Edward died in 1991. She moved with her mother to an apartment in Comfrey. Crescentia was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church and its ladies organizations. She enjoyed baking, crocheting, fishing, gardening and sewing. Survivors include her sister, Angeline husband George Portner of New Ulm, brother, Edward wife Carol Meidl of Springfield, and many nieces and nephews. Crescentia was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Lydia Hofmeister.
