Beatrice Coulson

Beatrice Viola Coulson was born on August 17, 1922 to Albert and Gladys (Jeske) Christenson on the family farm in rural Brown County. Bea graduated from Jeffers Public School and attended a year of business college. On August 3, 1946, she was united in marriage to Adrian "Pat" Coulson at the First United Church of Christ in Comfrey. Bea worked at John Deere for 25 years as their bookkeeper and secretary. She was a member of the First United Church of Christ where she was part of the women's fellowship and the American Legion Auxiliary. Bea enjoyed knitting, crocheting, quilting, and crosswords. Bea died on Monday, January 10, 2021, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield at the age of 99. She is survived by daughters-Andrea (Russ) Eigen of Annandale and Mary (Bill) Augustin of Buffalo; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Adrian "Pat" Coulson, brother and sister-in-law Robert and Patricia Christenson, brother and sister-in-law Orville and Marylou Christenson.
