Barbara Gresch

Barbara E. Gresch was born on August 8, 1926 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of William and Mary (Jungers) Nealon. She attended and graduated from Rollingstone High School. Barb was united in marriage to Maurice on June 28, 1952 in Rollingstone, MN. The couple moved to Springfield in 1954. She worked at Esser's Department Store for 25 years. Barb enjoyed card club and reading, but her main interest was spending time with her family. She was a member of the Hospital Auxiliary, St. Raphael's Catholic Church, various church groups, and St. Anne's Alter Society. Barb died on Thursday, March 5, 2009 at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield, MN. She is survived by her husband - Maurice Gresch of Springfield; children - Kathy Gresch of Minneapolis, Mike Gresch of Springfield, Chris Gresch of Redwood Falls, Steve and his wife Laurie Gresch of Mankato, and Bill Gresch of Redwood Falls; and 3 grandchildren - Joe Gresch; Jennifer and her husband John Scholl, and Sarah Gresch. She is preceded in death by her parents - William and Mary Nealon.
