Arliss Hansen

Arliss Hansen, age 74, of St. James died on Sunday, February 17, 2019 at Mayo Clinic Health System - St. James. In keeping with Arlisss wishes, there will be no funeral, she will be cremated and her ashes set free over the Smokey Mountains. Arliss Maureen Dwello was born October 20, 1944, the daughter of Robert and Betty (Turner) Dwello in Charles Mix County, South Dakota (near Pierre). On August 1, 1974 she was united in marriage to Terry Mac Hansen. She loved to garden, fish, sew, paint and many other crafts. She was a 30 years survivor of breast cancer. She is survived by her children; Lori Hansen (Virgil Buysman), Justin Hansen, Jayme (Michael) Ekstrum, Jessie (Jon) Dougherty all of St. James, step-sons; Adam, Hans and Kenny Hansen all of Las Vegas, NV, sisters; Charlene Skip (Jeff) Hoppe of WI, Vicki (Edward) London of TN, step-sister Joni Pettigrew of NC and step-brother Wayne (Connie) Turner of CA, 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, mother Betty (Edgar) Turner, father Robert (Christina) Dwello, step-son Shane Hansen, and brothers Larry Turner and Richard Turner.
