Jose Cardoza, age 23, of St. James died on Saturday, July 10, 2010 as a result of a motor vehicle accident in rural Martin County.

Jose Teodoro Cardoza, age 23, of St. James, MN, returned to his Savior on July 10, 2010. He was born in Fresno, CA, on April 22, 1987. Jose attended high school in St. James and in Plainview, Nebraska. Jose was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and camping. His passions included UFC and other combative sports and video gaming. He got much joy from spending time with family, friends, and his dogs.

Survivors include his parents Esteban and Maria Armendariz, brothers Esteban Armendariz, Jr, Raymundo Armendariz, sisters Elizabeth Armendariz, Esperanza Armendariz, Marilee Armendariz, grandparents Maria C. Rangel and Francisco Rangel all of St. James and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
