Glenice Elaine Blum was born January 16, 1939, to Wesley and Hilda (Kjobstad) Dick in Mountain Lake, MN. Glenice attended Springfield Public School. She was married to Richard H. Blum on July 6, 1963, at St. John Lutheran Church in Springfield. They made their home in Minneapolis and were long-time members of Incarnation Catholic Church. Glenice loved flower gardening, her church, friends, and family. She had a kind heart, and will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Glenice died on Friday, May 14, 2010, at St. John Lutheran Home in Springfield at the age of 71 years.

She is survived by her mother - Hilda Anderson of Springfield; sister - Rachel (Ken) Bishir of Springfield; brothers - Ron (Rosemarie) Dick of Superior, WI and Gerald (Judy) Dick of Prescott, AZ; several nieces, nephew, cousins, and friends. She was preceded in death by her father - Wesley Dick; step-father - Crofton Anderson; husband - Richard Blum; and a brother - Wesley Dick, Jr.
