Stanley John Bauer was born on April 15, 1936 in Albin Township, MN the
son of Bert & Anna (Fischer) Bauer. He grew up and attended country school
in Albin Township. Stanley married Mary Catherine Seidl on May 8, 1958 at
St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sleepy Eye. The couple lived and farmed in
Albin Township until the present time, having dairy until 2002. Stanley was
a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Catholic Aid Assoc. and Fourth
Degree KC's. He served on the boards of the Farmers Elevator, St.
Mary's Federal Credit Union, AMPI, Little Red School House, and Stark
Ballpark. Stanley loved trapshooting and was in many tournaments at the
local and state level where he won several awards. He was an avid bowler,
enjoyed hunting, shaking dice, playing cards, old time music, his yearly
fishing trip to Canada and Case IH tractors. Stanley also enjoyed driving
around in his John Deere Gator shooting gophers and checking his crops. He
especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

(Lori) of Sleepy Eye & children Corey Holden, Justin and Josh Bauer, Steven
(Shelly) of New Ulm & son Patrick, James (Karla) of Sleepy Eye & son Dallas,
Michelle (Brian) Strate of Sleepy Eye & children, Kyle, Nicholas and Riley,
