Barbara Jean Maxwell was born on January 16, 1941 near St. James, MN the daughter of David & June (Anderson) Maxwell. She was baptized on April 26, 1941 at the Methodist Church and confirmed on May 20, 1956 at Augustana Lutheran Church. She married Wallace Aden on July 5, 12958 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in St. James. The couple made their home in St. James where Barbara worked at Tony Downs Foods and was a Care Giver for the Watonwan Humane Soceity. Barbara loved to read, crochet, take care of animals and she especially enjoyed her family.
Survivors include her children, Rick & wife Alice Aden of Philadelphia, PA, Ron Aden & fiancee Kristen Hultgren of St. James, Randy Aden & friend Nikki Foerderer of Bismark, ND, and Rhonda & husband Jan Miller of St. James, ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild, two brothers, DuWayne & wife LeighAnn Redmond of Madelia, Lawrence & wife Mary Maxwell of Ramsey, sister, Carla & husband Dan Schwieder of Amboy, and also nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband Wallace in 2001.
